Flexilab case study 2

A completed FlexiLab prior to user hand-over. The fully mobile FlexiLab laboratory furniture workstations have been provided in a number of modular sizes allowing specific bench configurations to match the requirements of the laboratory users.

A number of removable reagent racks have been supplied. The users can choose to retain them for point of use reagent storage, or remove them for the location of a larger piece of bench mounted equipment. Removal can be achieved from loosening the 2 retaining bolts.

In addition, the electrical service poles are fully relocatable within the laboratory bench run, allowing a high degree of flexibility with the provision of electrical and data services.

A full range of mobile laboratory storage units are available with the FlexiLab system. Each is supplied with 4 no. castors, with the front pair braked, providing an easily relocatable unit that is also stable and robust once in position with the brakes applied. The unit module is designed specifically to match the available widths below each table module, keeping wasted space to a minimum.

A range of wall mounted, solid or glass fronted storage units can be supplied to supplement the mobile under bench storage units.

All elements of the laboratory furniture finishes combine, including fume cupboard fascias and under fume cupboard storage units, to provide a fully integrated laboratory furniture system.
